
Equal Exposure
Designed for emerging women and gender expansive photographers, Equal Exposure is a shadow program that connects aspiring professional photographers with established music photographers across tours, concert venues, and music festivals.
ABOUT EQUAL EXPOSURE
THE GREEK THEATRE RESIDENCY
The iconic Greek Theatre ins Los Angeles, California is opening their doors to our Equal Exposure program this concert season! This initiative provides exclusive access to shadow the venue’s incredible house photographer, Natalie Somekh, and gain real-world experience capturing live music.
How It Works:
Participating show dates will be confirmed on a rolling basis
Each month, we’ll open a new application window where you can submit your portfolio and availability
Selected photographers will be notified 2–7 days in advance of a show and must confirm participation within 24 hours.
The June application is open until May 27.

We advance women’s careers through educational, networking, and creative opportunities by providing our community with valuable events, programs, and resources to not just work, but thrive in the music industry.

Applicants are selected based on availability, relevant experience, and the strength of their submission responses.

Altogether the program will take around 2-4 hours. Participants are expected to arrive at the venue one hour before doors, photograph the first three songs of the performance, and optionally participate in a follow-up session to review the photo editing process.
